Production Worker

Casual role that works any day Mon – Fri

About the Role

The Production worker is required to work within the production area both on the production line handling bottles and carton stock, completing various other tasks within the bottling hall and at other times utilising their forklift skills for movement of full stock, use of automatic pallet wrapper, and loading of containers.

Applicants without a forklift licence will still be considered, but preference will be given to those with forklift experience.

As the role involves repetitive manual handling, applicants mut be physically able to handle up to 18kg cartons for hours on end.

The Production worker role is required to report to the Production Supervisor.

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Has a safety first attitude towards people & products

· Ability to follow procedures and work to improve internal processes

· Ability to prioritise tasks within the scope of the role

· Strong commitment to Work Health & Safety and Food Safety

· Able to handle the physicality of handling up to 18kg cartons continuously

Skills and Experience

· 2+ years experience in a similar role preferred

· Experience in working within a production/packaging/food environment preferred but not essential

· Experience within fast paced automated manufacturing environment, with the ability to work alone and as part of a team;

· Strong communication skills

· Highly developed problem solving skills;

· A genuine desire to produce high quality results
