Wine Bar Attendant

About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Wine Bar Attendant who can deliver an exceptional customer experience in a busy bar. This role will be located primarily in our Cellar II Tasting Room and wine bar. The purpose of the role is to provide customers with a memorable wine experience whilst working in a strong team environment. Training will be provided.
This role is a casual position of approximately 15-20 hours per week with the opportunity to increase hours for the right candidate. You must be available to work a roster that includes Friday to Sunday, public holidays and school holidays. Most of the shifts will be rostered between the hours of 9.30am and 5.30pm and until 10pm on Friday’s.
Skills & experience
- Experience in a busy bar or wine focused role
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to host multiple customers at once in a busy environment
- Ability to work well within a team
- Experience with food preparation and food service
- Passion for wine and the local wine regions
- Current RSA
- WSET highly desirable
